| Carol Knotts, Team Historian, receiving her Dedication Award from former Thunderbird and retired USAF General, Lloyd Newton, with the Thunderbirds very own first Leader, from the 1953 Team, proudly assisting......Dick Catledge himself. Carol has followed and documented all the Teams history since 1955 and has also written several books on the Thunderbirds. She is truly deserving of this Award for all her love and devotion for the Team(s) throughout the nearly past 50yrs. God Bless her. |
