| The Missing Man formation was introduced into our air show routine in 1970 by our Cmdr/Leader - Lt Col Tom Swalm - to honor all POW/MIA. A distinctive marking on the F-4E was the "bloodline" red border around the Thunderbird motif on the belly of the aircraft. This "bloodline" honored all POW/MIA in Southeast Asia. |
