This is the 9th bomb squadron going away gift for crewmembers given before the squadron was deactivated. 

The Squadron was reactivated, at Dyess AFB TX. as a B-1 squadron. This is the oldest active squadron in the Air Force. 

Its history dates back to WW I. Dave Pasquini made the arerial photo for Bill Dale, the artist to make the picture. 

The picture includes the Fort Worth TX, skyline and the aircraft colors are the actual ones used on the airplane.
